Dr. Stephen Carver, OD
Dr. Carver has lived in Santa Fe and served the eyecare needs of the Santa Fe Community for over 20 years. He is a 1972 graduate of Southern College of Optometry, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was in private practice in Bentonville, Arkansas, before being commissioned in the U.S.P.H.S. Indian Health Service. He served on reservations in South Dakota and Arizona, and transferred to the Santa Fe Indian Hospital in 1980. In 1985 he joined a surgical ophthalmology practice in Santa Fe, and later a private optometry practice. Dr. Carver was pleased to open his new office at the Allegro center in December 2000. Dr. Carver is Board Certified and Licensed by the State of New Mexico in Ocular Therapeutics.

Dave Conaway, Office Manager, Optician
Mr. Conaway has been associated with Santa Fe Eyes over 5 years and is responsible for office management. His professional expertise provides quality service in our medical, optical, and contact lens departments.

Stephanie Watkins,
ABO Certified Optician
Ms. Watkins supervises our optical dispensary. She has 9 years experience in the optical field, and has extensive knowledge of opthalmic lens designs and materials. She is an excellent eyeware stylist.

Tina Gomez, ABO Certified Optician
Ms. Gomez has 5 years experience in the optical field utilizing both her optical and technical skill. She is currently preparing for her National Contact Lens Examiners Certification.

Edwina Alvarez, Optician
Ms. Alvarez has over 10 years experience in the optical field. She has special expertise in eyewear selection and fitting.

Carlota Romero, Optician
Ms. Romero oversees the Contact Lens Department and educates patients about contact lens optics and materials. She instructs patients on insertion, removal and care of their contact lenses.
